Prototype 2 At E3

The first Prototype was one of those games where sometimes you would just play it to brutally kill things, Prototype 2 continues on in this stream. However in Prototype 2 you are no longer Alex Mercer (although footage so far suggests otherwise), but Sgt James Heller, a soldier who’s family was killed in the first outbreak. The story seems to be to find and kill Alex, though this story would be kind of weird given the circumstances of the previous Prototype. Anyway, whoever you play as the over the top action is still there, this time with some new abilities. The skill called Bio-bomb, allows you to infect a civilian, and run before they explode into a mass of blood and spikes. The tendrils make you the equivalent of Venom on steroids, you can string up cars, make massive piles of trash and hurl them around, and much, much more. These new abilities also allow you to change the battle environment creating new possibilities all the time. Another new feature is the ability to use weapons that are mounted on armed vehicles, such as machine guns on APCs and rocket launchers on tanks.
