How to Create a Post People Will Read
NOTE:Â You must be logged in to use this feature. Once you are logged in the Create Content link will appear on the Sidebar Login below Upload Avatar.
IMPORTANT CHANGE:
When you finish a piece of content, please place the word DONE (in capitals) at the end of your title. That way I will know it’s ready, and can post it. I will omit the DONE, don’t worry.
If you don’t know what your doing going into creating a piece of content, it may not come out as expected, and may not get much attention. If you are interested in taking a spin at writing here it is highly recommended you read this first.
TEXT
Writing actual text is simple; you just type! You have other editing tools available as well, just look above the text box and you will see other options that should be familiar to you.
IMAGES
Adding images is a bit more complicated. You can upload them at the Media Library tab, or hotlink them from another site. If you hotlink your photos beware they could possibly change due to the site who hosts them could change them. If this happens, and the subject matter does not reflect the point of the content, the article/review/disagreement may be temporarily moved until you fix the problem, or permanently deleted. If you host your photos on another site (such as photobucket) you could then hotlink them safely. Adding images themselves is as easy as clicking the add image icon (beside Upload/Insert) and go through the different sections you need to fill in. You can also edit the image after you place it in the post by clicking it and then clicking the edit or delete icon in the top left of the photo.
VIDEOS
DUE TO SITE CHANGES USERS CAN NO LONGER POST VIDEOS. IF YOU WOULD LIKE A VIDEO IN YOUR POST PLEASE CONTACT A MEMBER OF THE TEAM (PREFERABLY THE ADMIN) WITH THE URL OF THE VIDEO AND WHERE YOU WOULD LIKE IT IN THE POST. WE WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU OUT.
CATEGORIES
Is your content an article? A review? Or a disagreement with something we said (how dare you!) then make sure you tick the box that applies.

They are all only applicable if it’s a review. I think what you type in them is self-explanatory.
Those are the only sections you need to fill out. If you have any questions about anything related to posting content just contact me with the contact form (I’m the administrator by the way!).
Disagreements are articles that disagree with something we posted. That can also be discussed in the comment section of the content you disagree with, but if you want to do an entire new review directly disagreeing with what we said (not just a different opinion but a drastic difference) then this is the topic to post it in. In other words, if you feel Scott (and friends) are not always right, then you’ll probably want to create some Disagreements.
The only difference in this type of content is that to allow readers to know what exactly your disagreeing with you should copy the link from the post you disagree with and paste it somewhere on your article. Thus allowing anyone who reads your content know what you disagree with. You can even disagree with another user or another site! Argue with everyone because you are always right. The internet sucks and the users are moronic and all that jazz. This picture sums up what I spend doing:

- Scott is Always Right
